From Saturday 29 May to Saturday 5 June Vale of White Horse and South Oxfordshire district councils are running a new Litter Bug Detectives Trail for children in four parks across southern Oxfordshire.
The trails will be available in Edmonds Park in Didcot, Southern Road Recreation Ground in Thame, Abbey Garden Meadows in Abingdon and Memorial Park in Wantage.

Boundary Park Sports Association has leased tennis courts and a multi-use games area on Great Western Park from Vale of White Horse district council.

The Vale of White Horse District Council's new lottery, the White Horse Community Lottery will launch in June with a special virtual event.

It has now been more than a week since Step 2 of the roadmap came into play, and so here are a few things to update you on:
Covid-19 infection rates
Infection rates remain broadly in line with last week, and the rate is now the same for both South Oxfordshire and the Vale at 18.4 per 100,000. Oxfordshire rates overall also remain at 22.6 per 100,000, a very slight increase from 22 last week.
