We've recently made some changes to our northbound closures on the A34 as we continue with our safety barrier replacement work near Abingdon.

Monday 6 to Thursday 9 March

• The A34 will be closed northbound from Milton Interchange to Marcham Road Interchange on weeknights between 9pm and 6am. Drivers will take the A4130 towards Wallingford and A4074 to Burcot and follow A415 to join at Marcham.

Friday 10 March

• The A34 will be closed northbound from the Milton Interchange to Hinksey Hill Interchange between 9pm and 6am. Drivers will take the A4130 towards Wallingford and A4074 to join the A243 at Heyford Hill Roundabout and Bypass Road to Hinksey Hill.

Monday 13 March to Saturday 18 March

• From Monday 13 March, the A34 will be closed northbound between the exit and entry slips at the Marcham Road Interchange on weeknights between 9pm and 6am. At this time, drivers will be diverted off and on again via the main gyratory.

Wednesday 29 to Friday 31 March

• The A34 will be closed northbound from Milton Road Interchange to the A4183 Oxford Road entry slip on weeknights between 9pm and 6am to remove our traffic management. Drivers will follow the same diversion as before via the A4130, A4074 and A243 to join at Hinksey Hill Interchange.
