Covid-19 update
Covid-19 infection rates
Infection rates across the county have reduced to a rate of 22 per 100,000 of the population and rates have dropped in each district. Since our update last week, the infection rate has nearly halved in South from 43.6 to 23.9 and Vale from 32.4 to 16.9.

Make it hard for the virus - everyone can access COVID-19 testing
The government is encouraging everyone to take part in twice-weekly rapid lateral flow device (LFD) testing. One in three people with COVID-19 do not display symptoms, so this regular testing will help identify people who have the virus but do not know it, and stop further spread of the virus.

Milton Parish Council - April meeting
Following the sad news of the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, we are now in a period of national mourning which will conclude on 17 April inclusive.
Due to the period of national mourning, the Council meeting that was due to be held on Monday 12th April has been postponed.
The meeting will be held on Monday 26th April via Zoom.

Death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
We are deeply saddened to learn that His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle.
The Parish Council, on behalf of its residents, offer deepest sympathies with the Royal Family.
Buckingham Place announced the death at 12 noon on 9th April 2021.

Wantage Library - Reopening on Monday 12th April!
We are delighted to announce that Wantage Library will reopen on Monday 12th April. This will be on limited opening hours temporarily.
Safety measures will remain in place for the protection of customers, volunteers and staff.
